Suzanne Fisher's video builds self-esteem and identity in young people as they watch the heroine assume a variety of personas throughout art history and direct her process on an interactive computer. Venus Envy, 1996, runs concurrently with the Home Grown exhibition and includes a CD-ROM version on a Macintosh 120MHz multi-media computer.
