Working with materials culled from the natural environment, Pamela L. Hignite (Liberty, IN) creates mixed media figurative sculptures that are informed by memories connected to Jungian philosophy and manifested through dreams. Hignite’s sculptures evoke mythical creatures of a past world. Embodying collective memories shared by friends, families, couples, and societies, the sculptures serve to connect us all to one another through past histories and present experiences.
