Joshua Penrose: Shadow Works

Joshua Penrose (Columbus, OH) works across a variety of media informed by the digital domain including sound, video, light and digital automation. His interest in alchemical practices and the transformation of material forms informs his current work with digital media. For Penrose, the digital domain remains withdrawn from our collective 21^st-century mind, its roots are hidden, subterranean, and while the digital domain reaches out, it only caresses the surface of our collective experience.
