Exhibition Details
Through a special agreement with the venerable Carl Solway Gallery in downtown Cincinnati, the Weston Art Gallery is able to periodically display the works of major nationally and internationally known artists on a short-term, informal basis. Donald Lipski, based in Brooklyn, New York, has a long history with Carl Solway and was a logical choice when the Weston sought a large-scale piece to occupy the atrium during its busy winter months. Through this collaboration, Solway is able to rotate important works from its inventory and Aronoff Center visitors get to enjoy sculpture by artists with established art world reputations, expanding the reach of visual art in the city.
