Mobile Ticketing User Guide

Cincinnati Arts Association is moving towards 100% mobile ticketing for a contactless, convenient ticketing experience.

With mobile tickets, our goal is to reduce hand-to-hand contact, lost tickets, and wait times. Now you can view, manage, and use your tickets right from your smartphone.

You're in control of your tickets with our one-stop-shop ticket account. Log in and easily purchase and download tickets, or simply get updates on a rescheduled event.

How To Transfer Tickets

Transferring your unused tickets to someone else is easy and eliminates the need to meet face-to-face or stand in line at will call.

How to transfer tickets:

  • Log in to your ticket account from your smartphone by going to CincinnatiArts.org/MyAccount
  • On the first page, scroll down to the bottom to find the TRANSFER button
  • Select the events and tickets you want to transfer and fill in the recipient's mobile phone number
  • Tap CONFIRM and your tickets will be sent to them immediately

You can transfer multiple tickets for multiple events, and even transfer to multiple people, all with the same easy process.

How to accept tickets:

  • When someone sends you a ticket transfer, you will receive a text message letting you know you have a pending transfer
  • If you already have an account, accept the transfer and follow the prompts to log in to retrieve the tickets
  • If you don't have an account, create one to accept the tickets
  • Tap on the link from your text message
  • Tap ACCEPT TRANSFER — note that there is an expiration date to accept the transfer

That's it! Your new tickets should be listed in your account.

Please note that transferred tickets can't be exchanged.

Contactless Entry

Using the Mobile Wallet:

  • After you log into your Ticket Account from your mobile phone, download your tickets to your smartphone's mobile wallet (Apple Wallet or Google Wallet).
  • That’s it! Pull up your ticket on your phone, and it’s now ready to scan.

I'm already at the theater, but I forgot to download my ticket.

If you have an account and your smartphone, no worries. Log in to your account, navigate to “My Tickets,” choose the event, and download your ticket from there. We recommend downloading prior to arrival when possible.

Whom do I contact if I still need assistance?

Please contact the CAA Ticket Office by visiting the Ticket Office window, by calling (513) 621-2787, or by emailing ticketing@cincinnatiarts.org for further assistance.

Are mobile tickets the same as printed tickets?

Each mobile ticket should be treated like any other valid ticket. Mobile tickets are individually scanned allowing one scan per entry. Any attempts to duplicate, alter, or sell copies of the mobile tickets may result in being refused admission to the event. This provides heightened security by identifying counterfeit and stolen tickets.

Can I download mobile tickets to a computer and print them?

No. Mobile tickets should not be transferred to paper. Any printed mobile tickets may not be acceptable for entry.

Can I take a screenshot of my mobile ticket and text/email it to a friend so they can enter?

No. Screenshots of a ticket may not be valid for entry. Please see above for information on transferring tickets.

Can I have multiple tickets on a single smartphone?

Yes, you can swipe through your available tickets (using your digital/smartphone wallet) at the venue if the entire party is present.

What if I don't have a smartphone, or my battery died, or something else happened on event day?

  • If someone in your party has a smartphone, you can transfer your tickets to them before the event. One smartphone can be used to scan multiple tickets.
  • If you do not own a smartphone, please contact the CAA Ticket Office for further assistance at (513) 621-2787 or ticketing@cincinnatiarts.org.
  • On event days, please visit the Aronoff Center Ticket Office for assistance.
