Mixed Doubles by Liz Coley
Two married couples contemplate switching things up. All's fair in love and tennis.
Playwright's Bio:
An award-winning playwright and CPI veteran, Liz Coley’s work has been read and produced across the US, in London, in Japan, and online. The premier of MOVING IN, MOVING OUT, MOVING ON was nominated for best new play by BroadwayWorld Columbus. CASTAWAYS has been produced at the San Diego and Cincinnati Fringe Festivals.
Running Against Time by Doug Decatur
One woman’s quest to make her mark as an athlete in the Senior Games despite her battle with cancer.
Playwright's Bio:
Running Against Time is Doug’s seventh ten-minute play to be staged or produced. He has also written five full-length plays which have been staged or produced in Cincinnati. Doug has had three books published one of which won an award, his nonfiction book Traded along with the play Unfinished Business which was co-written with his wife, Susan Decatur and was nationally recognized by the Austin Film Festival and Screencraft in 2020. Doug has been a member of the CPI board since 2012 and currently serves as its Treasurer.
One Night Stands by Dave Doster
Eric awakens from another one night stand, yet he really needs to live his life.
Playwright's Bio:
Dave Doster’s plays include Guardian Angel Blues, Thanks for Calling, Rushing for Pandas, The Obstacle Course, and The Last Out all produced by Gi60 (NYC and Leeds, UK), and can be found on YouTube. Dave has been writing weekly with NY/NJ based “Curtains On Fire” workshop and podcast since 2020.
Last Call by Rose Vanden Eynden
Is giving up love the price of fame?
Playwright's Bio:
Rose Vanden Eynden is thrilled to have her play produced in Lovefest 3! You may remember her play C.C.N.A. from CPI’s Earthfest 2024. Other short plays she's written have been featured in Home Brew at The Drama Workshop and at several Village Players' festivals. Her full-length play, GHOST GIRLS, had its successful world premiere last November with Clifton Players. Rose has been a writer all her life, and she's been part of the Cincinnati theatre community for over 30 years. Thank you for supporting new work!

Ah, Poetry! Is it really the language of love?
Playwright's Bio:
Teri pursued playwriting after she retired from teaching high school English and theatre. Two of her short plays will be part of Holidazed at Village Players in Ft.Thomas in December. She gives thanks to all her playwriting friends who give their feedback so graciously.
A Second Chance by Camilla McMahon
An older man who lives alone receives an unexpected visitor at his house and begins a conversation with the woman on his doorstep.
Playwright's Bio:
Camilla McMahon is an Associate Professor of Psychological Science at Miami University. Her teaching and research interests focus on developmental psychology, including social and cognitive development throughout the lifespan. A Second Chance is her second short play with the Cincinnati Playwrights Initiative.
High School Sweethearts by Fred Rothzeid
Can there be a second act for high school sweethearts who never managed to have a first act?
Playwright's Bio:
Fred enjoys writing plays, poems, songs, musicals, sports and the occasional unpaid acting gig. This is his 11th play/musical with CPI. He is thankful that such an organization exists in Cincinnati and grateful to those at CPI who make it all happen.
Ronco Products by Charles Stephan
Sometimes it’s just better to not try too hard.
Playwright's Bio:
Charles lives in Cincinnati, where he practiced law until he retired several years ago. He’s a member of Next Stage Cincinnati Playwrights and Cincinnati Playwrights Initiative. Ronco Products is one of his very first ten-minute plays.
FEES AND CHARGES
Service charges and fees apply to online and telephone ticket sales, and also may apply at the ticket office for some events. These charges and fees help support the Cincinnati Arts Association's not-for-profit mission to maintain the Aronoff Center and Music Hall, to present a wide variety of visual and performing arts experiences, and to provide arts education opportunities to tens of thousands of students and adults in the Tri-state region.

No refunds, unless otherwise specified.
If your performance is postponed or rescheduled, we will automatically move your tickets to the new performance date(s). If you are unable to attend the new dates, we will work with you to find a solution, which may include, without limitation, an exchange into an alternate performance or a credit for a future performance.
THEATER ETIQUETTE
For the comfort and enjoyment of your fellow audience members, and to not distract those around you and the actors onstage:
- Turn OFF your cell phone. Even silent calls can be distracting, and the light from your phone can be as disruptive as a cell phone ring. Turn OFF your cell phone.
- Be sure your cell phone is turned off again after intermission.
- Refrain from talking or allowing children to kick seats ahead of them during the performance.
- Photos and recording during the performance are strictly prohibited.
Note that guests who are disturbing those around them may be asked to leave the theater.
