ZAKLAND

GRAMMY-nominated children's artist Zak Morgan offers a fast-paced, fun, and educational music and storytelling program that encourages children to exercise their imaginations and to read books. Zak Morgan's physical comedy is reminiscent of a young Steve Martin, and his writing is frequently characterized as a cross between Dr. Seuss and Shel Silverstein because of the fun he has with language. The program exposes children to music and theater, two disciplines emphasized in The National Standards for Arts Education. In addition to the arts, Zakland touches on core academic subjects such as reading, writing, arts and humanities, practical living, and science.
