Science, Magic, Read It, Do It

Do your students like magic, but dislike science? Would you believe that some of the greatest magic tricks ever performed would be impossible without it? Join a magician in pulling great illusions out of a science textbook instead of a top hat. In this tour de force program, learn how a magician makes water do his bidding, captures a genie in a bottle, stirs the wind and creates rings of smoke. All three types of magic-Sleight of Hand, Optical Illusion and Chemical Change-will be demonstrated using basic science principles and safe practices for experiments.
