Holly's Harps
The Science & Math of Harp Music
No previous musical learning required
In assemblies, Holly Pratt focuses on Ohio, Kentucky or Indiana standards in music, the science of sound, and math; plays a variety of songs; and answers student questions. In addition, she prepares students to play their "own" harps in workshops, where they use one of 30 harps provided to learn songs, do hands-on experiments with the science of sound, and get a closer look at Holly’s big harp. Activities are adjusted to meet standards for each grade level. You may book assemblies only, or assemblies plus workshops.
