The Linda Reiff Dancers

Once Upon An Attic

A young girl investigates her grandmother’s attic and discovers dance styles of the 20th Century, including Ragtime, Swing, Jazz, and Modern Dance. This participatory dance-story performance gives audiences an understanding of dance and movement as part of our cultural heritage in a fun and entertaining presentation.

Recommended Ages: Grades K-6
Maximum Audience: 500
Length: 45 minutes
Cost: $495 first session/$100 each additional
Limit No. Sessions: 3

Technical Needs

  • Artist Arrival: 45-60 minutes prior to performance
  • Organization representative should meet the artists and show them to the presentation area.
  • The artists would like an organization representative to introduce them.
  • One adult or two students requested to assist with unloading equipment.
  • Audience participation: volunteers for some dances
  • There is a Question and Answer session following the presentation. It lasts approximately 5 to 10 minutes.
  • Large gathering space is suitable for this presentation.
  • Please have drinking water provided for the artists.
  • Equipment needed by artists:
    • electrical outlets
    • hand-held microphone and stand
