How to Be an Audience:
The Magic Show Assembly

'Please' and 'Thank You' are the magic words to remember when a mixed-up magical explorer loses his way in the middle of the show. The show includes information and demonstrations on following directions, group social etiquette, volunteering, teamwork, and general good behavior. The show includes the use of 8 to 10 students from the audience and the magical appearance of a live rabbit.

Recommended Ages: Grades K-8
Maximum Audience: 400
Length: 30-45 minutes
Cost: $350 first session/$125 each additional; full day $650

Technical Needs

  • Artist Arrival: 45 minutes prior to presentation.
  • Organization representative should meet the artist and show him to the presentation area.
  • Audience participation: yes, no pre-selection necessary.
  • Q & A included in running time
  • Equipment needed by artist:
    • electrical outlet
    • small table
    • a water source (i.e., a nearby sink or water fountain).
  • Classroom or large gathering space is suitable for this presentation. Minimum amount of space needed for presentation: 5' x 8' (or front area of standard size classroom)
  • Please have drinking water available for the artist.
