Jazz Dance Education Project

Enjoy class with an award-winning dance company - Dance Magazine's "25 to Watch" in 2008 and Cincinnati Entertainment Award recipient. In these workshops, students will learn jazz dance techniques and combinations as well as historical jazz repertoire based on Broadway musical productions. Then students will have the opportunity to create their own choreography with goals of working well together as small teams while enhancing personal artistic skills. Exhale Dance Tribe will also perform an excerpt of their work.

Availability: Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays

Maximum Audience: 50-100

Recommended Ages: Grades 7-12

Length: 2 hours

Cost: $500 each session

Technical Needs

• Artist Arrival: 1 hour prior to presentation
• Organization representative should meet the artist and show them to the presentation area.
• One person needed to assist the artist with unloading equipment.
• The artist would like an organization representative to introduce them.
• There is a Question and Answer session following the presentation. It lasts approximately 20 minutes and is included in the run time.
• Equipment needed by the artist: Electrical Outlets and CD player
• Large gathering space is suitable for this presentation. Minimum amount of space needed for presentation: 30 x 30. Please no concrete floor.
• Please provide drinking water for the artist.
