After performing to sold out crowds in Cincinnati during its maiden venture in 2010, Kathanauki School is back with yet another breathtaking performance.

A Classical dance form of northern India, Kathak literally means 'to tell a story' and is derived from the dance-dramas of ancient India. Rossana Bandyopadhyay, founder of Kathanauki School of Dance, will perform along with her students to dedicate an evening to Women on the eve of International Women’s Day. 'She' reflects primarily on the various stages of a girl becoming a woman. The dances celebrate their journey from being a girl, to a lover, and to a loving mother.

The show features choreography with complex spins and fast rhythmic footwork that will provide sheer visual delight. The mix of Indian classical and fusion-inspired music will add to the character of the show. The varied pace of the dancers will take the audience through several moods reflecting the energy of the dance.
