A new dance theatre work, Speak uses movement (along with sound and video) to explore the difficulties, joys, and means of communication. From cultural barriers to misunderstandings, and double entendre to body language, communication's effectiveness ranges in failures to successes.
In Speak, MamLuft&Co. Dance asks what it truly is to understand and to be understood.
The evening will also include a re-setting of a classic, mid-1970s work in its original costumes: 'Epitaphs' by Jefferson James of Contemporary Dance Theater (celebrating its 40th anniversary).

Perks may not be exchanged or refunded in whole or part for monetary value. Backstage tour will leave from box office area promptly at 6:45pm the evening of the performance. Concession coupons will be distributed with tickets. Concession stand coupon cannot be exchanged for cash and are good only for the evening of the performance, before the performance. Other gifts must be collected after the performance ends and cannot be delivered or picked up at another time.

This theater seats 437 and is a perfect setting for small and medium-sized performances or meetings. The theater is surprisingly intimate with full production capabilities, great acoustics, an attractive design and excellent sightlines.
