Cincinnati Playwrights Initiative is a grass roots organization of playwrights, directors and actors devoted to bringing plays written by local playwrights to the Cincinnati stage in the form of staged readings.

Stairway To The Crown

In early May, 2009, a company embarked on the construction of stair railings and platforms from the top of the pedestal at the base of the Statue of Liberty to her crown. The work was completed for the 4th of July, 2009, the first time the Lady was completely open to the public since 9/11.
