Out of these discussions a Professional Development Program was created in which 10 arts professionals participated in September 2008. The 2009 Creative Conversation in Cincinnati will include discussion of ideas, topics and issues regarding advocating for the arts and arts education in Ohio and Kentucky, with panelists Donna Collins, Executive Director of Ohio Citizens for the Arts, and David Cupps, Executive Director of Arts Kentucky. After the panel discussion, there will be a brainstorming session on actions the group and individuals can take to promote the arts and arts education in the region.
