The goal of the program: To give current arts administrators an opportunity to assess and improve their skills in order to perform their current jobs better

Who should participate: Current arts administrators in their 20s and 30s, or who are new to the field, and who would benefit from a skills assessment

What the program consist of:

• Four-hour workshop on skills assessment and how to develop a professional development plan led by Dr. Linda Gravett (September 22, September 30, or October 7)
• Half-hour personal coaching session with Dr. Linda Gravett to refine the professional development plan (Same day as workshop or to be arranged)
• Each participant will be matched with a peer buddy with whom they should meet throughout the year for motivation and support (this can be for lunch, happy hour etc.)
• Follow-up group meeting with all participants to assess how their plans are going (Spring/Summer)

To participate in program:

• Cost is $15.00
• Space is limited
• Submit application (download below), deadline: September 1, 2008
• Prior to workshop complete self-assessment and Myer-Briggs assessment
• It is advisable that employee and supervisor have a discussion prior to enrollment, regarding time commitment of the program

Dr. Linda Gravett, founder of Gravett and Associates, has a PhD in HRD and Industrial Psychology; an MS in Labor and Employment Relations; a Bachelors in Accounting; and is certified in consulting and training using both the MBTI and EQi instruments. She has worked with local and national organizations, and is a frequent speaker at professional conferences on the topics of building collaboration in a multicultural workplace, leveraging emotional intelligence, business ethics and generational differences.
