Dance of India

Using dance, hand-language, and a wealth of visual aids, the Cultural Centre of India will expand on lessons in multiculturalism, history, religion, language arts, geography, and more. All participants dance and experience hand-language movements, costumes, jewelry, and make-up.

Recommended Ages: Grades K-Adult

Length: 30-60 minutes

Cost: $300 first session/$150 each additional

Technical Needs

• Artist Arrival: one hour prior to presentation
• Organization representative should meet the artist and show her to the presentation area.
• The artist would like an organization representative to introduce her.
• One or two people to assist with unloading equipment.
• There will be audience participation.
• Classroom or large gathering space is suitable for this presentation. Minimum amount of space needed for presentation: 30’ x 30’, clean open space.
• Please have drinking water provided for the artist.
