Community relations are a top priority at the Cincinnati Arts Association. Reflecting its mission to support life-long learning in the arts many programs are designed to reach underserved or never served audiences. CAA works hard to create collaborations with other arts organizations and a variety of community service organizations. These collaborations usually result in high quality programs with an established connection into the community.
Recent projects have included a children's arts festival with 4C for Children, Holocaust Awareness Week with The Center for Holocaust & Humanity Education, and arts fairs in collaboration with Children's Inc. and the Lincoln Community Center.
BDAAC: Building Diverse Audience Advisory Committee
In 1996, the Cincinnati Arts Association formed the Building Diverse Audiences Advisory Committee (BDAAC) to produce a strategic plan to attract a more diverse audience to its venues.
